Features

RPM has been designed with ease of implementation in mind. Professors can register and have their students trading within minutes! Registering a class is free and accounts can be purchased and distributed in different ways to maximize flexibility.

Professors have complete control over their RPM class from deciding trading permissions for different asset classes to customized commissions and benchmark settings. Professors can also monitor their classes and track each student’s portfolio performance. Professors also have access to useful class summary reports that are emailed to them on a daily basis.

    How to Get Started

Step One – request a demo account and access to our Resource Portal

Please visit the Request a Demo account and Resource Portal access page to receive your free professor’s account, login information for Resources Portal, and a serial key to create your student account.

Step Two - set up your RPM class

Download and install RPM, and log into your professor’s account and setup your class (or classes) with our easy-to-use administration panel. You can customize the class welcome message, trading permissions, starting cash, trading dates, margin trading, portfolio constraints, financing rates, and many more settings.

Step Three – distribute the class code/password to your class

After your RPM class is set up, you need to distribute the class code and password to your students. As the professor, you are entitled to one free trading account for use/demonstration. In regards to deployment of accounts to your class, accounts can either be professor paid (prepaid) or student paid.

    - Professor Paid: The professor can “pre-pay” for student accounts. Students can then register themselves to the professor’s class without having to purchase their own account serial keys.

    - Student Paid: Each student must go to the RPM account site and purchase a serial key for a Standard Account for $35 CAD. A student will be able to create a single RPM account using this serial key and join your class in RPM.

University-wide license: Universities that are using RPM in many classes may bundle their accounts and receive a volume discount. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this in detail.
